Reception Area

Painted Lakes Ranch offers a historical building built in 1927 for your reception.  The old wood floors and walls are unique and the lighting and drapery are already in place which minimizes decorating and makes it easy to set up for a beautiful event. The Tumblweed Room is used primarily for dining, toasts, cake cutting and more as it includes a kitchen prep area, catering area, access to the bar, cake table and this is where tables and chairs are setup for the reception.  PLR offers many different options including round tables, long tables, your choice of black or white table cloths, our rustic decor package, cake table with cake stand(s), small vintage tables, buffet, runners, candles and much more.

 

The Sun Room is an adjoining room that is  used for the DJ, dancing, throwing the bouquet, and is basically the party room. It is also an indoor option in inclement weather for your ceremony.  PLR offers bar high tables and long tables in the Sun Room so guests can post up on bar high tables and folks that want to sit down have a place as well.  The Sun Room also offers a farm house table for your sign in book and gifts as well as a wagon cart with a chandelier which works great for a charcuterie board, memorial area, or whatever you want to display on it.

 

This setup works great so that guests who need a place to visit can stay in the Tumbleweed Room while party-goers enjoy the music and entertainment in the Sun Room.
